Student Services - Welfare

 Langports believes in getting to know our students at a personal level, as people and as learners.

Educational Counselling

Our Director of Studies assists you with your study and learning, so that you can make the best use of your time. They are also able to help you with information about studying at other colleges and universities after your course at Langports. 

Welfare Counselling

Our Student Services Manager assists you with any problems that you may have during your stay with us. They are able to give you pastoral support and provide information about the relevant support services outside Langports.

Under 18 Students

At Langports, we take special care of our students aged under 18 and it is compulsory to be part of our Guardianship Program.  Under Australian law they are considered minors, so our responsibility is greater. We monitor them closely and meet with them on a regular basis to ensure that they are feel safe and happy in their home and school life. A charge of $40 per week is made for this service.
