We provide students with the best opportunity to find a job as soon as they start their course.
To help subsidise your stay, students on a Students Visa can work up to 48 hour per fortnight during their studies (and unlimited hours during study breaks). Working Holiday Visa holders are allowed to work with no limit.
Here are some ways that we support students to be prepared for the working environment:
Job Club
We run our Job Club in Brisbane on Wednesday every week where students will learn the important things like:
- How to build your resume
- How to get a tax file number
- How to find a job
- Opening a bank account
- Preparing for interviews and techniques
- Answer any questions!
Job Ready Program:
On the Gold Coast, we run our Job Ready Program for two weeks every month (1-2 hour per day, Monday-Friday). Monday sessions are free for our students without booking.
The Job Ready Program provides students the opportunity to get industry training sessions and barista training from the hands of industry experts at Alfresco Italian Restaurant on the Gold Coast.
This is a super helpful program to prepare for getting a job and learning the ins and outs of the Australian workforce.

Job Notice Board
We also support our students by providing leads and information on available work opportunities. This includes:
