Brisbane is never short on things to do, and whilst we love places like South Bank and Roma St, there so much more to the city!
Whether you’re new to Brisbane or just looking for a new spot, here are our recommendations to make the most of your time here!
Day time Activities…
Enoggera Reservoir
Located less than 20kms from the CBD, whether you’re looking for a relaxing day or craving an adventure the reservoir is the perfect hidden gem! Here you can explore the scenery by taking a hike through the bush or even hiring a kayak for the afternoon! This secluded swimming spot is the perfect place to relax and have a dip or even play a game of spot the turtle!

Museum/Gallery of Modern Art
Queensland’s Museum and Gallery of Modern Art are at the heart of Brisbane’s cultural centre and are home to many Aussie artefacts and works that can offer fascinating insights into the country’s rich history. These two cultural treasures are definitely worth visiting – and you can knock both over in a day!

Markets
Brisbane is also home to many different markets where you can find local produce, street food and local arts and craft!
Here are some of our favourites:
Milton Markets – Sunday Mornings
Brisbane City Markets – Wednesdays and Thursdays
Rocklea Markets – Saturdays
Now let’s get into the night time activities…
