You come alone but you are never alone !

01.04.2020

Hi, my name is Carla, I’m from Germany. I was a volunteer at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary for 6 weeks.

Langports Sydney

Before that, I was studying at Langports Sydney for one month.

Langports gave me a good basis to improve my English and to develop my self-confidence in speaking.

Volunteering at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

As a volunteer at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, you really get the chance to get close to the animals and to learn a lot of background information about them.

During my time at the Sanctuary, I had the chance to meet a lot of people and make a lot of friends.

It was so much fun to work there and you really have the feeling that you are living the Australian life.

One of my highlights was that I got the chance to meet so many animals that I have never seen in my life before.

The keepers really trust you and so I was allowed to feed a lot of the animals, such as birds, dingos and wombats.

The best time of my life !

Also, you never have the feeling that you are alone because there are so many people around you, as well as other volunteers. You come alone but you are never alone.

It was the best time of my life and I would recommend it to anyone!
