The South Bank Parklands are located on the southern bank of the Brisbane River. The parklands are connected to the City by the Victoria Bridge and to Gardens Point by the Goodwill Bridge. It is a park with many facilities including: BBQs, artificial beach & swimming pool, restaurants, cafes, markets, shops and it is host to hundreds of events all year round. The Queen Street Mall is a pedestrian mall located in the heart of Brisbane CBD and it is the premier shopping and entertainment destination in Brisbane. More than 1,000 events take place throughout the mall each year and buskers take over the streets on a daily basis.
Roma Street Parkland offers spectacular surrounds for leisure, recreation and events and it is set over 16 hectares of green space and is open all day every day. Guided walks are available twice daily (except for Good Friday and Christmas Day) and take you past rocky peninsulas, misty lakes, the Water Wall and ferny groves.
Kangaroo Point is located directly east across the Brisbane River from the Brisbane CBD.

The Valley was Australia’s first dedicated entertainment district and continues to have live music thrive and international DJs are drawn to the clubs and bars. The Chinatown Mall is a hub of exotic Chinese supermarkets and restaurants.
Mount Coot-Tha Lookout offers Brisbane’s best view and you can experience breathtaking panoramic views of Brisbane City out to Moreton Bay. It is a short 7kms West of Brisbane’s CBD and Translink bus Route 471 runs from Adelaide Street Brisbane City to the Lookout every day.

It plays host to AFL (Brisbane Lions) and Cricket (Internationals, Queensland Bulls and Brisbane Heat) and is a 42,000 person capacity venue.
Lone Pine is Australia’s first and largest koala sanctuary with over 130 koalas. You can cuddle a koala, hand feed kangaroos and see many other Australian animals in a natural setting. You can take the Translink bus 445 from Adelaide Street stop 40 to Lone Pine every hour. The sanctuary is open every day from 9am – 5pm (except Anzac Day & Christmas Day).

Langports’ Brisbane campus is located in the heart of Brisbane city next to the City Hall and King George Square. The campus is only a 2 minute walk to the popular shopping district and is surrounded by shops, cafes and fast food outlets but is also close to parks such as Roma Street Parklands and the Botanical Gardens. South Bank, Brisbane’s well-known entertainment precinct where you will find a great range of cafes as well as a large pool and artificial beach, is only a 20 minute walk from our campus.
